She is a science communications and group process veteran with 24 years of experience in delivering high impact products and co-learning experiences. Lola Jalbert

Producer

Lola’s interest in the human side of things and her background in the social sciences are key to her work, in particular her interest in making messaging accessible and clear for everybody. Lola just returned from a six year stint in Berlin, Germany, a time that taught her so much about communicating that she decided to pursue it professionally. She loves languages and has spent countless hours learning, translating, and teaching them. When she’s not working at Roca, you can find Lola in nature, moving, or moving in nature. She believes that life is incomplete without the natural world and the people in it.

Ruby Leonard

Producer Intern

Ruby is an undergraduate sociology student at the George Washington University specializing in Human Services and Social Justice. She is committed to thinking about and including different cultural voices in her work: double-minoring Spanish and Mandarin-Chinese. Ruby fills her free time with art as a proficient photographer and avid textile artist. Growing up on the coast of Maine, Ruby is very excited to assist Roca's good work for coastal agencies this summer.
